Kitchen Flooring

Question

Is laminate flooring acceptable for a kitchen floor? I have heard that it does not deal with moisture very well.

  1. There are many different qualities of laminate available, with a great range in price points. Many factors comprise how well a laminate will perform in various situations – one of the factors that you will want to look for is a laminate that has a core with a very low absorption rate. Products on the market have absorption rates ranging from 8-50%. The lower the absorption rate, the less swelling and peaking will occur to water related issues (within reason)
